DAVID BROMBERG QUINTET
For Americana godfather David Bromberg, it all began with the blues.  David Bromberg was the first to successfully meld blues, country, bluegrass, gospel, Dixieland jazz, folk and rock into a genre now known as Americana, David began his career in the mid sixties in the coffee houses of New York’s Greenwich Village. David became a session guitarist for Bob Dylan, Willie Nelson, John Prine, Carly Simon, Ringo Starr and others. In 1970 he performed an unannounced set at the Isle of Wight Festival for 400,000 receiving four encores. David subsequently signed with Columbia Records embarking on a career as bandleader and releasing over a dozen albums. Joining David Bromberg on stage will be his Quintet!

LOUDON WAINWRIGHT III
Loudon Wainwright III is a critically acclaimed songwriter who won the 2010 Grammy Award for Best Traditional Folk Album “High, Wide and Handsome: The Charlie Poole Project”. His songs have been covered by legendary artists including Johnny Cash and Bonnie Raitt. Judd Apatow’s Knocked Up (for which he also recorded the soundtrack), Parks and Recreation, Undeclared, and M*A*S*H. Now older than his father ever was, it’s got him thinking, and writing, and singing. As he puts it, some of his material deals with “death ‘n’ decay” and he’s approached the subject from all angles, with his customary insight, honesty, and rueful humor. He is a singer of deeply personal songs that explore the dark corners of family relationships, love, and politics as well as the day's best satirical songwriter.
