Join Plymouth area residents to watch and discuss Dark Money, an award-winning political thriller which examines one of the greatest threats to American democracy; the influence of untraceable corporate money on our elections and elected officials.

The film follows an intrepid local journalist working to expose the real-life impacts of the US Supreme Court’s Citizens United decision.

Olivia Zink of Open Democracy and Isaac Grimm of Rights & Democracy will lead a discussion about the movie afterwards.

January 24th is also the birthday of Granny D, the New Hampshire activist who at 88 began walking across the country to draw attention to the need for campaign finance reform. We will celebrate with cake!

The event is co-hosted by Common Good Progressive Alliance, Rights & Democracy, and Open Democracy.
