ROCK N’ ROLL CIRCUS featuring James Montgomery, Danny Klein, and Jon Butcher

DOORS: 6:00PM     SHOW: 7:30     AGES: 13+

Be there when the Rockin’ 4 Vets brings its Rock n’ Roll Circus “House Party” “Birthday Party” to The Flying Monkey, in Plymouth, NH, for a benefit event!!

Loaded with high energy, high octane rock, the Rock n’ Roll Circus is a no holds barred celebration that promises “Nothin’ but a Birthday Party.” This explosive line-up brings together an extraordinary lineup featuring 3 Grammy nominees, 3 New England Music Hall of Fame inductees, 2 Rhode Island Music Hall of Fame inductees, a Rock & Roll Hall of Fame nominee, and more—an all star gathering rarely seen on one stage.

This is not a typical Rock n’ Roll Circus show, but a special celebration honoring two of New England’s most beloved music legends, on their birthdays -while also supporting a local Veteran’s organization. The night pays tribute to James Montgomery (James Montgomery Band, Johnny Winter) and Danny “Ace on the Bass” Klein, co founding member of the world renowned J. Geils Band.

A true New England icon, Montgomery has spent decades filling rooms and electrifying audiences with marathon, high energy performances fueled by blues soaked rock and soul. He is joined by Danny Klein, whose world traveled bass work delivers a deep, irresistible groove that drives the entire band. Together—with special guests joining the celebration—they’ll create a night that’s equal parts party, tribute, and unforgettable live experience.

Adding further firepower to the lineup is Jon Butcher, best known for his work with Jon Butcher Axis, Johanna Wild, Barefoot Servants, and his appearance on Experience Hendrix tours. Widely regarded as one of Boston’s most influential guitarists, Butcher has toured nationally, opening for legends including The J. Geils Band, Def Leppard, Rush, and the Scorpions. He is joined by Bruce Marshall (Toy Caldwell Band, Bruce Marshall Group), longtime collaborator with James Montgomery in the acclaimed duo Montgomery & Marshall. Rounding out the guest appearances is Andrew “AC” Clark, known for his tenure with John Cafferty & the Beaver Brown Band and for sharing stages with Rock and Roll Hall of Famers such as the Rascals and the Beach Boys.

Not to be overlooked in this show will be the backing band made up of drummer AJ Vallee (Southern Rock All-Stars, The Peacheaters, Starr Faithfull and One Night of Queen). Bassist, Tim Archibald (Barry Goudreau’s Engine Room, Peter Wolf’s House Party 5, NEW MAN and American Vinyl All Star Band, with Barry Goudreau and Skunk Baxter), on keyboards Todd Farland (Nasty Habits), and guitarist James Germana.

With a line-up like this expect some classic Montgomery songs, Jon Butcher Axis, Hendrix, Johnny Winter, J. Geils, Marshall Tucker Band and a mix of the songs these performers have played on stage as they’ve toured the world.

This show is produced by Rockin’ 4 Vets/Alive & Kicking Productions, which produces Vets benefit concerts throughout New England to support organizations assisting Vets on issues related to PTSD, addiction, and homelessness.
