GRATEFUL BALL
Tony Markellis (Trey Anastasio Band) &
  Zach Nugent (formerly of JGB)
  Saturday, December 28 - 7:30pm

The Grateful Ball comes to Plymouth, NH, with Tony Markellis (Trey Anastasio Band) + Zach Nugent (formerly of JGB). In 1998, Phish guitarist Trey Anastasio (a longtime friend and fan) invited Tony to be the foundation of a new band he was forming as a creative outlet during Phish’s downtime. Trey and the band released a critically acclaimed self-titled CD in the Spring of 2002, which won them their second 2002 Jammy Award (“Best Studio Album”). It usually only takes one show to understand why Zach Nugent is one of the most sought after guitarists in the live music scene. Since touring as de-facto Garcia expert with Melvin Seals & JGB, his performances promise intensity and beauty in the delivery of the music that he’s built a reputation with.  SEE MORE DETAILS...

The High Kings are Finbarr Clancy, Darren Holden, Brian Dunphy and newest member Paul O’ Brien. The High Kings formed in June 2007 when Brian, Darren, Finbarr and former member Martin Furey were asked to join a brand new Irish ballad group by David Kavanagh after he had noticed a gap in the market for a band specialising in traditional Irish music.  It didn’t take long during there first studio rehearsal for them to realise that the way their individual voices blended together, that they were onto something special. BLOOD, SWEAT & TEARS
*JUST ADDED!Pink Talking Fish

Blood, Sweat & Tears uses horns fused with rock, jazz and blues thrown in for good measure.

No one can argue BS&T invented a new style of music.

Blood, Sweat & Tears is not the first band to ever use a horn section, but they are the first to fuse it with rock, jazz, and some blues thrown in for good measure.

From the first ensemble in the late sixties practicing in a loft on Bleeker Street in New York’s Greenwich Village and having crowds clapping on the street below between songs, founding member and drummer Bobby Colomby knew they were on the right course. Since then, the band has never stopped touring for over 50 years.

GLEN PHILLIPS (Toad The Wet Sprocket) &
  CHRIS BARRON (Spin Doctors)
  Saturday, March 14 - 7:30pm  *JUST ADDED!

Glen Phillips has always been a courageous and inviting songwriter. During his years as lead singer of Toad the Wet Sprocket, the band’s elegant folk/pop sound and his honest, introspective lyrics helped them forge a close bond with their fans. Since starting his solo career, Phillips has pared his music down to its emotional core, concentrating on the simple truths of love and relationships, with a profound spiritual understanding. The zeitgeist is a moving target, and Chris Barron has always been a crack shot. The New York songwriter is no longer the debutant who set out on the circuit’s sharp end in 1988 with $100, a battered acoustic and a headful of the alt-rock anthems that would elevate Spin Doctors to global stardom. He’s a veteran approaching 50, living in a world changed beyond recognition, compelled to write the music that chronicles the here-and-now.  SEE MORE DETAILS...
