JOHNNY A. & POPA CHUBBY
Two Blues Legends in One Night!
  Saturday, February 15 - 7:30pm

Never content with complacency, and always up for a challenge, Johnny again takes an adventurous musical left turn to present his distinct, instrumental guitar approach for the very first time in a completely “solo” intimate  atmosphere. The evening promises to be a very special "living room experience" with some of Johnny's favorite songs and stories all of which have molded him into the musician and person he is today. Popa Chubby, born Ted Horowitz, has been hard rocking the blues in his fierce and soulful way for more than 25 years. Over the course of a career that dates back to 1994, he has been a force to be reckoned with on the guitar, and his tempestuous, soulful playing has never been more powerful.  SEE MORE DETAILS...

The High Kings formed in June 2007 when Brian, Darren, Finbarr and former member Martin Furey were asked to join a brand new Irish ballad group by David Kavanagh after he had noticed a gap in the market for a band specialising in traditional Irish music.  It didn’t take long during there first studio rehearsal for them to realise that the way their individual voices blended together, that they were onto something special. The High Kings continue to set the bar extremely high for Irish Folk bands across the world and are widely regarded to be at the forefront of the genre.  SEE MORE DETAILS...

Pink Talking FishBLOOD, SWEAT, AND TEARS
  Past, Present, Future
  Thursday, March 12 - 7:30pm

Blood, Sweat & Tears uses horns fused with rock, jazz and blues thrown in for good measure.  No one can argue BS&T invented a new style of music.  Blood, Sweat & Tears is not the first band to ever use a horn section, but they are the first to fuse it with rock, jazz, and some blues thrown in for good measure.  From the first ensemble in the late sixties practicing in a loft on Bleeker Street in New York’s Greenwich Village and having crowds clapping on the street below between songs, founding member and drummer Bobby Colomby knew they were on the right course. Since then, the band has never stopped touring for over 50 years.  SEE MORE DETAILS...

GLEN PHILLIPS (Toad The Wet Sprocket) &
  CHRIS BARRON (Spin Doctors)
  Saturday, March 14 - 7:30pm

Glen Phillips has always been a courageous and inviting songwriter. During his years as lead singer of Toad the Wet Sprocket, the band’s elegant folk/pop sound and his honest, introspective lyrics helped them forge a close bond with their fans. Since starting his solo career, Phillips has pared his music down to its emotional core, concentrating on the simple truths of love and relationships, with a profound spiritual understanding. The zeitgeist is a moving target, and Chris Barron has always been a crack shot. The New York songwriter is no longer the debutant who set out on the circuit’s sharp end in 1988 with $100, a battered acoustic and a headful of the alt-rock anthems that would elevate Spin Doctors to global stardom. He’s a veteran approaching 50, living in a world changed beyond recognition, compelled to write the music that chronicles the here-and-now.  SEE MORE DETAILS...
