LOS LOBOS
No Longer "Just Another Band From East LA"
  Friday, August 23 - 7:30pm

If Los Lobos has learned one thing in nearly four decades together, it’s that playing by the rules is not for them. They tried it for a while, said no thanks, and they’ve been better for it ever since. Rather than capitalize on the elevated commercial profile that “La Bamba” had given them, Los Lobos instead chose to record as a followup La Pistola y El Corazón, paying tribute to their acoustic Mexican acoustic music roots. Kiko came next, followed by such equally stunning albums such as 1996’s Colossal Head, 2002’s Good Morning Aztlán and 2006’s The Town and the City, Los Lobos has continued to deliver dependably solid and diverse recordings, a live show that never fails to disappoint, and just enough side trips to keep their creative juices flowing.    SEE MORE DETAILS...

THE GIBSON BROTHERS
Special Performance with their MOCKINGBIRD BAND
  Friday, October 25 - 7:30pm

The Gibson Brothers—siblings Eric and Leigh Gibson—have already made over a dozen albums, but none quite like the new Dan Auerbach–produced Mockingbird. Their newest venture is an effortless blend of classic '70s-infused rock and timeless country, a modern twist on their traditional sound, and harmonies that will keep you wishing for more. The celebrated duo — named back-to-back Entertainers of the Year by the International Bluegrass Music Association in 2012 and 2013 — played the Nashville game two decades ago, while in their early 20s, and were offered a major label deal, only to be told at the last minute that they were too "retro" for modern country music. Today, such characterizations, along with their authenticity, set them apart and describes the marvelous Mockingbird.  SEE MORE DETAILS...

MAC POWELL AND THE FAMILY REUNION
with special guest Dan Russell opening *JUST ADDED!
  Friday, November 15 - 7:30pm

"A little bit of rock, a little bit of country, a little bit of gospel and a whole lot of love."  That’s the tagline for Mac Powell and the Family Reunion, a new band led by Mac Powell, the former lead singer of Grammy-winning, multi-platinum selling band Third Day.  It’s also an apt description for the group’s new album Back Again. But don’t consider Mac Powell and the Family Reunion a clean break from Powell’s musical past —it’s merely a continuation of a creative journey the singer started a few years back on his own. You could even say the seeds for his new solo endeavor were planted in the singer’s early childhood.  SEE MORE DETAILS...

ERIG GALES & GARY HOEY *JUST ADDED!
Two American Blues-Rock Guitar Legends In One Night
  Saturday, November 16 - 7:30pm

Eric Gales talents caught the eye of Elektra Records, who released his debut album The Eric Gales Band in 1991 when he was only 16 years old. It’s no wonder why he is the guitarists’ favourite guitarist, counting fans in the likes of Tony Rombola (Godsmack), Tosin Abasi (Animals as Leaders), Joe Bonamassa and Carlos Santana. Dave Navarro (Jane’s Addiction) said “how Eric Gales isn’t the hugest name in rock guitar is a total mystery.” Whether Gary Hoey is playing scorching originals or classic rock covers, his solos are thrilling and reminiscent of Clapton or Stevie Ray in their fiery youth. One thing that remains consistent is Hoey’s impassioned command of the guitar. He can attack his instrument with feral intensity and then play something very soft and achingly beautiful.  It's no wonder he is listed as one of the top 100 guitarists of all time.  SEE MORE DETAILS...
