The famous NH Music Festival musicians are collaborating with local musicians from the Fiddlehead Field Chamber Group to put on a spectacular event that will have you transported into your favorite movie scenes! Close your eyes and you are dancing with Belle from Beauty and the Beast; open your eyes and you are watching a budding 7-year violist playing alongside a professional adult musician making lifelong memories that will ensure the future of the arts in our community!
100% of ticket sales go to fund the operating costs of the Fiddlehead Field Kids’ Orchestra program. This Campton-based music education program seeks to promote the healthy growth and development of children through the study, practice, and performance of music; and to build healthier communities by investing in the positive development of children through music. All students receive a full scholarship to participate in the program, and instruments donated from organizations like the NH Music Festival are loaned to students free of charge. The orchestra program has 30 kids ages 4-17, and is run on volunteer energy. This one fundraiser will fuel a full year of music programming for kids in the White Mountains region of NH, so come enjoy a fabulous concert and know that you are supporting the next generation of NH musicians!
